My name is Paul Menze, and for over 25 years, psychedelics have been a central part of my personal and professional life. I support people who wish to approach psychedelic experiences thoughtfully - with careful preparation and structured integration - within a context of personal growth rather than clinical treatment.
I began my engagement with psychedelics in the 1990s while studying psychology at Utrecht University, where I specialised in drugs and addiction research. I conducted research on the safety of psilocybin and wrote my Master's thesis on ayahuasca in ceremonial and therapeutic contexts. Alongside my academic work, I developed extensive personal experience with a wide range of psychedelic substances, a thread I have continued to this day.
Early in my career I worked in therapeutic and clinical settings, including rehabilitation clinics, which gave me a grounded understanding of psychological vulnerability, safety, and ethical boundaries. Since opening my private practice in 2005, I have focused on non-clinical, client-centred coaching, helping people translate psychedelic insights into meaningful, lasting change in everyday life.
In addition to preparation and integration coaching, I facilitate legal psilocybin retreats in the Netherlands. I am an accredited master coach and certified breathwork instructor, and I stay current with research and best practices through ongoing professional development and intervision.
I work in English, Dutch, and German.
