How Much Does Psychedelic Integration Coaching Cost?
Short answer: Listed single-session rates for the 28 integration coaches on Psymerge run from about €60 to €160 (7 coaches, median €100) and from $70 to $250 (20 coaches, median $109), as of 26 October 2026. One coach lists £85. Coaches set their own prices.
Psymerge doesn't set guide prices, offer substances or give medical advice. These are listed rates, not a promise of what you'll pay.
Cost is one of the first things people ask, and most pages answer it in a sentence. We can do better, because we can see what coaches on Psymerge actually list. Here are the numbers, how we got them, and what else is worth asking before you book.
Psymerge coach rates at a glance
Listed price per session for the 28 coaches in the Psymerge coaches directory, as of 26 October 2026. Each price is in the coach's own currency. We haven't converted anything.
| Currency | Coaches | Lowest | Median | Highest |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Euro (€) | 7 | 60 | 100 | 160 |
| US dollar ($) | 20 | 70 | 109 | 250 |
| British pound (£) | 1 | 85 | 85 | 85 |
Half of the 20 coaches pricing in US dollars list between about $90 and $150. That's the middle half of that group. The euro group is too small (7) for a reliable middle range. With one coach, the pound row isn't a range at all.
What these numbers are, and aren't
- They are listed rates, set by each coach. They are not an average of what people pay, and they are not the market price.
- They cover coaches listed on Psymerge only. A different directory would give different numbers.
- The samples are small. Seven euro prices and one pound price tell you very little on their own.
- We didn't capture session length. Two coaches charging the same may offer sessions of different lengths. Check each profile.
- They change. Coaches update their profiles. The date above is the date we counted.
Other guides on Psymerge
Psymerge also lists licensed psychologists, counsellors and other professionals. Across all 51 guide profiles with a listed price (28 coaches and 23 with other roles), the figures are:
| Currency | Profiles | Lowest | Median | Highest |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Euro (€) | 19 | 60 | 99 | 160 |
| US dollar ($) | 30 | 50 | 100 | 250 |
| British pound (£) | 2 | 85 | 107.5 | 130 |
Looking only at the 23 non-coach profiles, the middle values are close to the coaches': a median of €97 (12 profiles) and $100 (10 profiles). With samples this small, we wouldn't read much into the difference. Licence type and price don't track each other in any simple way here.
How we calculated this
We read the listed session price from each public guide profile on 26 October 2026 and grouped them by the currency the guide chose. "Coaches" means the 28 profiles shown in the coaches directory. We took the lowest, highest and median for each currency. We didn't convert between currencies, didn't weight by popularity, and didn't include any package or sliding-scale prices that aren't in the listed rate.
What affects the price?
We don't have data that says why one coach charges more than another, so we won't guess. These are the things worth asking about, because they can change what a price means:
- Session length. 50 minutes and 90 minutes are not the same product.
- Background and licence. Some guides are licensed clinicians; others are coaches. See coach vs therapist.
- Packages. Ask whether the guide offers a block of sessions at a different price.
- Sliding scale. Ask whether the guide adjusts for financial need. It's a normal question.
- Currency and region. A price in euros and a price in dollars aren't directly comparable without today's exchange rate and your own costs.
- Language and specialty. Fewer guides may work in some languages or with some experiences.
- Cancellation terms. Ask what happens if you need to reschedule.
Packages, sliding scale and free options
Packages. Guides on Psymerge set their own terms, so ask the guide whether they offer a block of sessions.
Sliding scale. On Psymerge, ask a guide directly before booking whether they adjust for financial need. Messaging guides is free.
Free peer support
Fireside Project, a US nonprofit, runs the Psychedelic Support Line: free, confidential peer support by call or text, for people during or after a psychedelic experience. Their volunteers aren't therapists, and it isn't a crisis service. On their page the hours are daily 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Pacific time, and they say to call 911 in an emergency [2]. It's US-based, and it isn't a replacement for working with a guide. Check the hours on their site before you call.
Psymerge itself doesn't offer support during experiences, and isn't a crisis service.
How many sessions might you need?
It varies, and we don't have a reliable figure to give you. Some people book one session. Others book several over a few months. A good guide will talk with you about how many sessions make sense, and you can stop whenever you want.
Is it worth it?
We can't answer that for you, and we won't promise results. Integration support isn't a medical treatment, and no coach can guarantee an outcome. Some questions to ask yourself instead:
- What do I want support with right now?
- Can I afford a handful of sessions without strain? If not, would a sliding scale or a free service work for now?
- Do I need a licensed clinician for something like depression, trauma or medication questions? If so, start there.
How to compare coaches beyond price
Price tells you little by itself. Before you book, look at the guide's training, language, approach and how they talk about risks and limits. Many guides offer an introductory conversation. For retreat-side questions, see how to choose a psychedelic retreat.
How pricing works on Psymerge
Browsing guide profiles, using the matching quiz and messaging guides are free. Clients pay only for sessions, at rates set by their chosen guide [1]. Psymerge doesn't set guide rates.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a psychedelic integration coach cost?
How much is one psychedelic integration session?
It depends on the guide, so look at the profile. The medians above are the middle of what coaches list on Psymerge. They aren't the price you'll pay.
Is psychedelic integration therapy covered by insurance?
It depends on your country, your plan and the professional's licence, so check with your insurer. Psymerge can't tell you what your plan covers.
Are there free or low-cost options?
Ask a guide whether they offer a sliding scale. Fireside Project's free peer support line is available in the US [2]. Neither is the same as working with a guide.
Why do coaches charge different rates?
Training, experience, session length, region and package terms may all play a part. We don't have data that tells us which matter most. Ask each guide what's included.
